Happy 2019! I can’t believe another year has already come and gone, but I know this year will be our best yet.
With each new year- comes goals and resolutions. One of the most common goals of the new year is to eat healthier, and I know many people will be trying plant-based eating. According to a survey completed in the UK, it is expected that 3 million people will be going vegan this year.
There is no denying that the plant-based trend is growing. Between the new brands and products on store shelves, the continued increase in obesity, heart diseases, and cancer, and the research that is being published regarding the state of our environment – more and more people are considering transitioning to this lifestyle. Luckily, it’s easier now more than ever.
I wanted to make it ever easier…
When I went vegan a little over a year ago, I had no idea what I was doing. I had no understanding of nutrition, the human body, or what it really meant to be vegan. Luckily, I had a boyfriend who was already vegan who I could rely on for bits of information, but for the most part I was on my own.
I remember feeling intimidated, confused, and a bit isolated. None of my friends, co-workers, or family members were vegan. I was a girl who loved cooking and baking, who suddenly had to re-learn how to operate in the kitchen in order to create the delicious recipes I was accustom to.
I started to live and breathe anything and everything plant-based. I watched documentaries, read books, followed hundreds of instagram accounts, started to play around in the kitchen, and developed habits and routines that made this lifestyle so easy and fun.
The one thing that was annoying… there wasn’t anywhere to go that included absolutely everything I needed.
I wanted to create something that would be a one stop shop for anyone that was thinking about going vegan, trying to include more vegan meals in their diet, or those that are simply looking for more information on nutrition.
Thus, the Vegan Starter Pack was born!
This pack is everything that I learned along the way- in combination with the tips and routines that I created. With this guide, going vegan will be seamless and will most likely last long term.

Going plant-based was the best decision I ever made! I have experienced improvement in my overall happiness, energy levels, friendships, knowledge on health and nutrition, and my appearance (glowing skin, healthy hair and nails). While seeing a decrease in my anxiety symptoms, body fat percentage, and digestive issues.
